Tim Kaine to Discuss Stakes of November Election for Young Granite Staters at Events in Portsmouth and Exeter
Democratic vice presidential nominee U.S. Senator Tim Kaine will campaign in Portsmouth and Exeter on Thursday, September 15. In Portsmouth, Kaine will meet with leaders for Stay Work Play, an organization that encourages "20 and 30 'somethings' to stay in, come to, or 'boomerang' back to New Hampshire," for a discussion with young professionals about expanding opportunity for young Granite Staters by making college more affordable, creating new, good-paying jobs, and making it easier to start a business in New Hampshire.
Stay Work Play is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is “To work collaboratively across New Hampshire to support ongoing economic, workforce, and community development by promoting the state as a favorable place for young workers and recent college graduates to stay, work and play, when considering employment and lifestyle opportunities.”
In Exeter, Kaine will attend an organizing event, during which he will lay out the stakes of November's election and urge Granite Staters to support his and Hillary Clinton's vision of an America that is stronger together.
