In New Ad, Anastasia Somoza Talks About Hillary Clinton Fighting For Those Often Overlooked
Hillary for America is airing a powerful, new testimonial television ad featuring Anastasia Somoza talking about Hillary Clinton’s commitment to fighting for people that others ignore – like those with disabilities. Anastasia, who was born with cerebral palsy, first met Hillary Clinton when she was 9 years old and has been working with her ever since.
Earlier on Wednesday in Orlando, Hillary Clinton spoke about her vision for an "Inclusive Economy" that welcomes people with disabilities, values their work, rewards them fairly and treats them with respect. Anastasia introduced Clinton at the event. 1 in 5 Americans have disabilities and Clinton is the only candidate with a plan for an economy that includes more people with disabilities. Clinton has been an advocate for people with disabilities from her days at Children’s Defense Fund through her appointment of the first ever Special Advisor for International Disability Rights when she was Secretary of State.
The new ad, called “Sees,” will air as part of an already existing national cable advertising campaign.
