
Documentary Style Ad Features Hillary Clinton’s Lifelong Record Fighting for Children and Families
In battleground states and as part of a national cable advertising campaign, Hillary for America is airing an ad that uses a documentary-style approach to show Hillary Clinton’s lifelong commitment to fighting for children and families in a new ad, called “Children.” The ad ends with Hillary Clinton saying, “I’ve spent my life fighting for children, families and our country and I'm not stopping now.
The ad is the latest positive ad during the general election campaign that previously included ads like Always, Quiet Moments, Kayla, How To, It’s Us, and Only Way.
Clinton has a proven track record of standing up and delivering results for children and families. She went to work going door-to-door for the Children’s Defense Fund after law school, helped start the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, helped create the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and led the U.S delegation to the U.N Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, where she proclaimed that “women’s rights are human rights.” As Senator, she championed access to emergency contraception, the Paycheck Fairness Act and voted in favor of strengthening a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions. As Secretary of State, she created the new permanent position of ambassador-at-large for global women’s issues and helped launch the first U.S strategy to prevent and respond to gender-based violence globally.
The new spot is part of the campaign's ongoing ad buy in New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, Iowa and North Carolina. It will run alongside previously released ads. A similar ad was run during the Democratic primary as well.
