Senator Tom Cotton to Speak at 2016 Scott County GOP Reagan Dinner at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa on Tuesday, October 11, 2016
We are excited to announce that United States Senator from Arkansas, Tom Cotton will be the featured speaker for our 2016 Reagan dinner!
Senator Cotton’s committees include the Banking Committee, the Intelligence Committee, and the Armed Services Committee, where he chairs the Air Land Power Subcommittee. He grew up on his family’s cattle farm in Yell County, graduated from Dardanelle High School, Harvard, and Harvard Law School. After a clerkship with the U.S. Court of Appeals and private law practice, Senator Cotton left the law because of the September 11th attacks. He served nearly five years on active duty in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer and served in Iraq with the 101st Airborne and in Afghanistan with a Provincial Reconstruction Team. Between his two combat tours, Senator Cotton served with The Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. His military decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, and Ranger Tab. Senator Cotton is also a regular commentator on Fox News.
In addition to Senator Cotton we are excited to also welcome as our Special Guests to our Reagan dinner: Governor Branstad, Lt. Governor Reynolds, U.S. Senators Grassley and Ernst, Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate, Iowa Auditor Mary Mosiman and Iowa GOP Chairman Jeff Kaufmann.
The Reagan dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, October 11 at the Waterfront Convention Center. Reservations are $50 per person, or a table of 8 for $400. The deadline to make your reservation is OCTOBER 4.
