Lt. Gov. Tina Smith to host “Made in Minnesota” Jobs Tour on Monday, August 8, 2016
ST. PAUL – Today, August 8, Lt. Gov. Tina Smith will travel to Rochester, Maple Grove and Duluth to host a “Made in Minnesota” jobs tour. Lt. Gov. Smith will discuss Hillary Clinton’s commitment to building an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the very top, and will detail Hillary’s plan that will make the biggest investment in good-paying jobs since World War II.
A new Moody’s Analytics report released last week found that under Hillary’s plan, the economy would create over 10 million jobs in her first term alone. The same independent analysts found that under Donald Trump’s proposals, the economy would lose 3.4 million jobs and suffer a “length recession.” Trump has a long track record of enriching himself at the expense of working Americans, and many of his own products have been made outside America.
Lt. Gov. Smith will visit businesses that manufacture products in Minnesota while creating strong, good-paying jobs for working Americans.
