Hillary for America, Together with Joint Accounts, Began August with About $103 Million in the Bank
Today, Hillary for America (HFA) filed its August monthly FEC report covering the month of July. The report shows that HFA began August with more than $58 million in the bank after raising more than $62 million in July thanks to more than 1.4 million contributions from about 870,000 people during the month. The average donation to HFA during July was about $44.
Between HFA, the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) and the Hillary Action Fund (HAF), Democrats began August with about $103 million in the bank.
“Thanks to the more than 2 million people who have donated to this campaign, we enter the final months in strong financial shape," said Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook. "We're going to be spending the final 80 days of this race organizing and mobilizing millions of voters in states across the country as we push for 270 electoral votes and progressive wins up and down the ballot, but with Trump's fundraising exceeding expectations and his growing obsession with harshly negative conspiracy theories we can't afford to let up."
Clinton brought in over $90 million through Hillary for America, the HVF, and the HAF in July of 2016.
Clinton raised more than $24 million in July in contributions of $200 or less (unitemized directly raised to HFA and unitemized allocations from HVF), and more than 60 percent of the campaign’s contributions for the month were from women.
Hillary for America is also continuing the tradition of transparency she started in 2008 and is voluntarily publishing a list of her top volunteer fundraisers, found here on her website.
