Trump and Pence on November Ballot in Minnesota
(Minneapolis, Minn.,) - This morning, the Republican Party of Minnesota completed the filing of Donald J. Trump and Governor Mike Pence as the GOP candidates for President and Vice-President with the Minnesota Secretary of State's office. Chairman Keith Downey completed his legal requirements of submitting the names of the nominees along with nominees for Elector and Alternate Elector in advance of next week's filing deadline (August 29).
The Office of Secretary of State (OSS) certified the nominees along with the certification of Nominees for Elector and Alternate Elector, pursuant to Minnesota statute. OSS has accepted them as meeting all legal requirements and added the ticket to the ballot here.
