Colorado GOP Statement on Trump Choosing Pence As Running Mate

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Chairman of the Colorado GOP Steve House released the following statement regarding the selection of Mike Pence as Donald Trump’s running mate:

“Governor Mike Pence is a proven leader and a strong addition to the Republican ticket,” said Colorado GOP Chairman Steve House.

“He represents the best of the American dream growing up the son of a gas station manager in south-central Indiana and working his way up to Governor of the Hoosier State.”

“His accomplishments as governor include implementing the largest state tax cut in Indiana history and expanding school choice for the poor and middle class. Governor Pence has also prioritized our nation’s service-members by enacting legislation that increases benefits and opportunities for our veterans and their families.”

“By picking a man of integrity like Governor Mike Pence, Mr. Trump is drawing a clear contrast with Hillary Clinton’s systemic record of dishonesty.”
