The Republican National Committee (RNC) Announces $155.8 Million Raised For The Cycle
WASHINGTON - Today Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus announced the Party has raised $155.8 million this cycle. The RNC raised $11 million in May and currently has $19.9 million cash on hand. The RNC continues to out-pace the Democrat National Committee’s (DNC) fundraising, raising over $50 million more than the DNC so far this cycle.
“The resources we’ve raised this cycle have allowed us to continue building the best-staffed, most wide-reaching, and most data-driven ground game in our Party’s history,” said Chairman Priebus. “Our years-long commitment to building a robust, permanent field organization in battleground states means we’ve had a 148-week head start on Hillary Clinton and the DNC, who are only now assembling a General Election ground game. With nearly 500 paid staffers in the field, thousands of heavily-trained organizers ready to share our Republican message, we’ve never been better prepared to engage voters and boost turnout in a presidential election year. We’ve already seen record GOP presidential primary turnout this cycle, and as we continue to partner with the Trump campaign to raise the resources we need to win, our growing field organization will be an integral part of Republican victories in races up and down the ballot this November.”
