Hillary for America Began June with More than $42 Million Cash on Hand
Raised More Than $42 Million in May for HFA, DNC and State Parties
Today, Hillary for America (HFA) filed its June monthly FEC report covering the month of May. The report shows that HFA began June with more than $42 million in the bank after raising more than $28 million in May thanks to more than 650,000 contributions from about 430,000 people during the month. The average donation during May was about $44.
“We're starting the general election in strong financial shape thanks to the support of more than 1.3 million people and strategic investments that helped us conserve our resources,” said Hillary for America Campaign Manager, Robby Mook. "That grassroots support will be critical to our success and will ensure that we have the resources we need to communicate Hillary Clinton's message that we are stronger together.”
Clinton brought in $28,275,817.46 through Hillary for America and the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) in May of 2016.
Clinton raised more than $9 million in May in contributions of $200 or less (unitemized directly raised to HFA and unitemized allocations from HVF), and more than 60 percent of the campaign’s contributions for the month were from women.

Filter column E, which indicates if the item on the report is a transfer or allocation from HVF to HFA, to “SA18” to show only the itemized and unitemized allocations. Those steps will remove transfers and partnerships while leaving the amounts allocated from individuals and other political committees.
