Hillary Clinton Raised $36 Million in April for Hillary For America, DNC and State Parties
HFA raised $26.4 million, Begins May with $30 million on hand
Hillary Clinton raised about $26.4 million in primary funds for Hillary for America and more than $9.5 million for the DNC and state parties across the country through the Hillary Victory Fund. Clinton has now raised $213.5 million in primary funds for the campaign and more than $46 million for the DNC and state parties through the HVF. HFA enters May in strong financial shape with about $30 million on hand.
Funds raised through the Hillary Victory Fund are now being used to fund and staff organizing programs in states across the country that will register voters, recruit volunteers and organize Democrats to turn out and support candidates up and down the ballot. The coordinated campaigns are being run by the DNC and state parties and will coordinate with local, state and federal Democratic campaigns to work to elect progressives across the country.
"Thanks to 1.2 million people across the country we have the resources we need to continue to run a winning primary campaign while preparing for the general election," said Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook. "Hillary Clinton has always made it a priority to help Democrats up and down the ballot which is why we are proud to be helping to fund the coordinated campaign that will make up the heart of the Democratic organizing efforts for local, state and federal candidates this fall."
