
Bernie Sanders to Visit New York City on Saturday, April 9, 2016
BURLINGTON, Vt. -- U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Saturday will continue his swing through New York City, where the Democratic Party presidential candidate will hold rallies in Washington Heights, University Heights and Long Island City. Sanders will then host a community conversation in Harlem with African-American leaders to discuss his plans to fix a broken criminal justice system, improve relations between police officers and communities of color and take on a rigged economy disproportionately harming minority neighborhoods.
