Hillary for America Raised $29.3 Million in March, Began April with About $29 Million Cash on Hand
Today, Hillary for America (HFA) filed its April monthly FEC report covering the month of March. The report shows that HFA began April with about $29 million in the bank after raising more than $29.3 million in primary contributions in March thanks to more than 670,000 contributions from about 400,000 people during the month. The average donation was about $45 and more than 50 percent of the $29.3 million came from grassroots online donations. Clinton now has more than 1,100,000 contributors.
“We head into the homestretch of the primary in strong financial shape with the resources we need to continue to run a competitive race through the end of the primary and the road ahead,” said Hillary for America Campaign Manager, Robby Mook.
"
Thanks to smart investments and the help of more than 1.1 million people who have donated to this campaign, Hillary Clinton has earned more than 2.5 million votes more than her opponent and opened up a nearly insurmountable pledged delegate lead.”
Clinton brought in $29,342,932.56 in primary donations through Hillary for America and the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) in March of 2016.
Clinton raised roughly $11 million in March in contributions of $200 or less (unitemized directly raised to HFA and unitemized allocations from HVF), and more than 60 percent of the campaign’s contributions for the month were from women.
