Hillary Clinton to Return to Connecticut This Weekend on April 23 and 24, 2016 *Updated
On Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24, Hillary Clinton will return to Connecticut to campaign in New Haven and Bridgeport ahead of Tuesday’s primary election in Connecticut. On Saturday, Clinton will join Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro and members of the community in New Haven for a conversation on working families and Clinton’s commitment to raise incomes as president. She will discuss her plans to raise the minimum wage and fight for equal pay for women and paid leave for working families. On Sunday, Clinton will hold a Get Out the Vote event in Bridgeport to urge Connecticut voters to cast their ballots on Tuesday. She will discuss why she is the best candidate to break down the racial, social and economic barriers that hold families back as president.
Clinton campaigned in Hartford on Thursday, where she joined family members of gun violence victims to discuss commonsense solutions to curb gun violence in communities in Connecticut and across the country.
The Bridgeport event will be free and open to the public and open press. Due to space constraints, the event in New Haven will be invitation only.
