Hillary for America Raised $30.1 Million in February, Began March with About $31 Million Cash on Hand
Today, Hillary for America (HFA) filed its March monthly FEC report covering the month of February. The report shows that HFA began March with about $31 million in the bank after raising more than $30.1 million in primary contributions in February thanks to contributions from about 365,000 people during the month. More than 50 percent of the $30 million came from grassroots online donations. Part way through March, Clinton now has more than 1,000,000 contributors.
“Thanks to the 1 million people who have now contributed to our campaign and the more than 8.6 million people who have supported Hillary Clinton with their votes, we have the resources we need to continue to run a strong campaign all across the country and a nearly insurmountable pledged delegate lead,” said Hillary for America Campaign Manager, Robby Mook. “With the majority of our fundraising coming from grassroots online donations, this campaign continues to gain momentum and feed off the energy of millions of supporters across the country.”
Clinton brought in $30,127,234.96 in primary donations through Hillary for America and the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) in February of 2016. Additionally, she raised about $4.4 million for the DNC and state parties across the country through the HVF.
Clinton raised roughly $10.5 million in February in contributions of $200 or less (unitemized directly raised to HFA and unitemized allocations from HVF), and more than 60 percent of the campaign’s contributions for the month were from women.
Hillary for America is also continuing the tradition of transparency she started in 2008 and is voluntarily publishing a list of her top volunteer fundraisers, found here on her website.
