Marco Rubio Campaign Announces Growing Texas Leadership Team
This morning, the Marco Rubio for President campaign is excited to announce additions to its Texas Leadership Team. These key conservatives from across the Lone Star State join former U.S. Senator Phil Gramm who endorsed Marco last month. Marco's campaign is built for the long haul. He is the only candidate with chairmen in all 50 states and momentum continues to grow across the country as Republicans rally behind the candidate best suited to unite the party and defeat the Democrats in November.
"As this election cycle has progressed, it has become clear to me that Marco Rubio is the leader America needs at this crucial time in our nation's history," said former Bush supporter Massey Villarreal, CEO and President of Precision Task Group, Inc., and member of the Greater Houston Partnership Board of Directors. "His vision for a New American Century is inspiring, and I have come to realize that there is no candidate running for president who has the ability to unite our country like Marco. I am proud to offer him my full support and will do everything I can to help him win in November."
"Texas is excited about Marco Rubio," said Celina Mayor Sean Terry. "He has consistently fought to protect the conservative values Texans care about most, and I fully expect he will continue to do so as president. I am proud to join his team.”
"More than any other candidate in this race, Marco Rubio understands the challenges facing everyday Texans," said Mark Ellis, former Houston City Council Member. "His humble beginnings instilled in him the qualities that have been missing in Washington for far too long: honor, humility and optimism. He knows how special this country can be, and I trust him to continue fighting to ensure the 21st century provides the same opportunities to the next generation."
"We are greatly encouraged by the outpouring of support for Marco in Texas," said Micah Johnson, Regional Spokeswoman for Marco Rubio for President. "Our campaign is built for the long haul, and Marco has been and always will be the only candidate who can unite the party and win the White House this fall."
