Hillary Clinton to Travel to Illinois to Get Out the Vote on Wednesday, February 17, 2016
Clinton to be Joined at Event by Geneva Reed-Veal
Chicago, IL -- Hillary Clinton will travel to Illinois on Wednesday, February 17, and will hold a Get Out the Vote event in Chicago's historic Bronzeville neighborhood to encourage supporters to vote in the March 15th primary and to take advantage of early voting, which is already underway. Clinton will be joined by Geneva Reed- Veal, mother of Sandra Bland.
This will be Clinton's second visit to Bronzeville since announcing her candidacy for president. Last year, she held a roundtable with child care workers to discuss the soaring out-of-pocket costs of child care and the need for paid family leave.
