Congressman Dan Benishek Endorses Marco Rubio For President Today, Michigan Congressman Dan Benishek endorsed Marco Rubio for president. With the support of Congressman Benishek, and conservative leaders from across Michigan, Marco has the grassroots support to be successful in Michigan's March 8 primary.  Congressman Benishek has represented Michigan's 1st congressional district since 2011. In Congress, he serves on the House Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs.
