MANCHESTER, N.H. - Following the Democratic Debate in South Carolina, NHDP Chair Raymond Buckley made the following statement:
 
“What we saw tonight was a serious, substantive debate on the issues that matter to New Hampshire - from climate change to national security, gun violence to college affordability. The Democratic presidential candidates made it clear tonight they know how to keep our country safe and build on the economic progress we’ve made over the last seven years, especially when it comes to middle and working class families."

"While Democrats are focused on expanding opportunity for everyone, the Republicans are focused on nothing but doom, gloom, bickering, and taking us backwards to the GOP’s great recession. We’re thrilled to host our three candidates again here in New Hampshire before our First-in-the-Nation Primary because we know that the future President was on that stage tonight.”
