Martin O’Malley for Iowa Announces 34 New Endorsements
Iowa Leaders Ready to Hold Strong for New Leadership on Caucus Night
Des Moines – With just days until the Iowa caucuses, and following a shining moment at the Iowa Democratic Town Hall that has been called Governor O’Malley’s “best performance of all the nationally televised candidate events”, O’Malley for today Iowa announced 34 new endorsements from leaders ready to hold strong for new leadership on caucus night.
These community leaders are the opinion leaders and organizers who make the difference on caucus night, and have pulled off surprises before. Each leader is committed to taking Governor O’Malley’s advice from the debate – to hold strong for the new leadership needed to build off of President Obama’s progress in the caucus room.
Today’s announcement includes 13 more elected officials including State Senator Tod Bowman, eight additional Democratic county chairs, including the youngest Democratic County Party chair in Iowa, and the Executive Director of Iowans For Gun Safety.
