Marco Rubio Announces Growing South Carolina Grassroots Leadership
Today, the Marco Rubio for President campaign is excited to announce grassroots supporters from all across South Carolina. Leaders of all backgrounds - GOP activists, TEA Party leaders, faith leaders, youth leaders, and first time voters - are uniting behind the conservative leadership and vision of Marco Rubio.
As momentum continues to grow for Marco in the Palmetto State, the Rubio campaign is proud to be releasing the largest list of grassroots leaders in South Carolina of any candidate to date. Marco will also be returning to South Carolina this afternoon and tomorrow, January 8 and 9, to meet with voters in Columbia and Aiken.
"South Carolina conservatives are looking for a voice that rises above the fray to provide real solutions to keep our nation safe, get government off our backs, and unleash the American spirit," said Bill McShea of Greenville County. "As the son of a bartender and maid who sacrificed much to give him a shot at a better future, Marco Rubio has the vision and optimism we need to get our country back on track."
"Since President Obama took office, all we have seen is more government overreach and fewer opportunities here in South Carolina. I am proud to support Marco Rubio who will repeal Obamacare and reverse the President's unconstitutional executive orders," said Jim Davis of Charleston County.
"Marco is a strong fiscal conservative who understands that in order for all Americans to succeed, we must lower taxes for working families, roll back burdensome regulations that are preventing small businesses from hiring more workers, and amend Obamacare. As President, Marco will restore opportunity for all South Carolinians," said Jean Moore of Richland County.
"Under Marco Rubio's leadership, we will see more jobs and higher wages here in South Carolina. Marco wants all of us to have a shot at achieving the American Dream, and I look forward to electing him here in the Palmetto State," said Cleo Steele of Horry County.
"A man of faith, Marco will guide our country along a better path as he stands up for life for not only the unborn, but also for the sick, the suffering, and all those entrenched in poverty," said Justin Bradley of Spartanburg County. "We need a leader like Marco in the White House to ensure that America's best days do not lie behind us and that each and every one of us has a shot at a better tomorrow."
