George Pataki Endorses Marco Rubio for President
"After much deliberation and conversations with several candidates, I'm proud to endorse Marco Rubio for President and I will do whatever I can to help his campaign.
Throughout this campaign, I've been impressed with Marco's optimistic message and detailed policy proposals - especially when it comes to our national security. Today, America is at greater risk of attack since than at any time since Sept 11th. I am convinced that no one running better understands the threats facing our nation and I know Marco Rubio will do what it takes to keep America safe.
These are dangerous times and people across America are desperate for strong leadership. But name calling and trading insults is not a substitute for leadership and it will not usher in a new American century. I fear if Donald Trump is our party's nominee, then Hillary Clinton will be President. Fortunately, Republicans who want to win have a conservative alternative in Marco Rubio – a person who will not only unite our party, but defeat Hillary Clinton in November.
Americans feel divided because in Obama, Trump and Clinton we have had leading figures who exploit division for political gain. Marco Rubio will do the opposite. Marco will be a leader as President with a unifying message of security and prosperity that inspires all Americans.
President Marco Rubio will protect our freedoms from enemies and terrorists abroad as well as those who threaten to encroach upon our Constitution from within. The time is now for all Republicans to unite behind Marco.”
