What They’re Saying, Marco Wins Again
After spending part of his childhood in Las Vegas, tonight Marco Rubio returned to Nevada and outlined his positive vision for the 21st Century. Marco said that his plan for a New American Century entails keeping our country safe from terrorism and creating an economic environment that will give more people the opportunity to experience the American Dream.
Meanwhile, Fox Business’ Trish Regan said Senator Cruz still needs to explain why he joined with Democrats to weaken the NSA.

Between Marco’s positive vision. And Cruz’s inability to answer some simple questions about his record, it’s no wonder that The Washington Post and others have declared that Marco won the debate.
• National Review's Rich Lowry: "I’d score it for Rubio on points, but it was close and both senators are obviously exceptionally skilled. I think Rubio had the better of the argument on the NSA on the merits and on the question of whether or not ISIS can be defeated from the air (it can’t). ... Overall, Rubio once again demonstrated his command of the facts and fluidity as a communicator." (National Review, 12/16/15)
• The Washington Post: "The Florida Senator proved (again) that he is the best natural debater in the field. Totally in control. Relaxed. Extremely knowledgeable. He won, rhetorically speaking, a face-off with Cruz over metadata and held his own when Cruz attacked him on his participation in the Senate push for comprehensive immigration reform. When Trump -- more on this later -- had no clue what the nuclear triad was, Rubio stepped in to flex his policy chops." (The Washington Post, 12/15/15)
• Red State: "If any candidate on stage was put into an unfair place by the moderators, it was Rubio, who was constantly put into 'let’s you and him fight' with all the other candidates on the stage. Fortunately for Rubio, he proved himself to be up to the task. (Red State, 12/15/15)
