
Jim Gilmore Announces Next Two Visits to the Granite State
Alexandria, VA -- Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore, the only veteran in the presidential race, will return to New Hampshire Jan. 5th for three days of visits in Manchester/Nashua and the Seacoast. Gilmore will return to the state again January 21st for three days of campaigning including stops in Carroll County and then an appearance at the GOP's First in the Nation Presidential Town Hall.
On January 5th, Gilmore will address the New England College NH Primary Student Convention at the Radisson in Manchester. Gilmore is also scheduled to meet with supporters in Center Harbor that day.
On January 6th, Gilmore will address small businesses in Portsmouth.
Additional stops for this trip, Gilmore's 16th campaign trip to the Granite State, will be announced shortly.
On Jan. 7th, the Virginia Governor will address members of the legislature at the New Hampshire State House. Later that day, Gilmore, who is a strong supporter of the Navy's shipbuilding program, will also tour the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and meet with senior shipyard leadership, tour the shops and facilities and meet with with union personnel.
Regarding his upcoming trips to New Hampshire, Gov. Gilmore said, "I am honored to have the opportunity to meet the people of New Hampshire and to address their representatives at their historic State House, the oldest state capitol in the country using both of its original bicameral chambers.”
On January 21st, Gilmore will return to visit Carroll County including stops at the Gibson Center in North Conway for lunch, tours of local visits and a meet and greet in Ossipee as well as make other campaign stops in the area.
Jan 23rd, Gov. Gilmore will address the GOP’s First in the Nation Presidential Town Hall. The Governor addressed the GOP’s FITN event earlier this year. "I am pleased to return to meet with Republican voters and party officials to present my qualifications for service as President of the United States," Gilmore said.
