Senator Amy Klobuchar Will Engage Women Voters and Discuss Clinton's Plan to Increase Opportunity For All
Manchester - Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar will campaign for Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire on Friday, December 4th. Klobuchar will engage supporters and voters across the Granite State in a discussion about why she supports Hillary Clinton for President and Clinton's plans to expand economic opportunity for women and families.
Klobuchar will participate in events across New Hampshire on Friday, beginning with a Ladies Left of Center monthly meeting in New London and a Women for Hillary luncheon in Concord.
In the afternoon, she will speak with volunteers and supporters at an organizing event in Amherst, co-hosted by Women Making a Difference. She will finish the day at a Students for Hillary roundtable in Hollis, where she will discuss Clinton's New College Compact and expanding economic opportunity for college students and new graduates.
Amy Klobuchar is the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate in Minnesota's history. Throughout her career, Senator Klobuchar has focused on getting real results that help support families, strengthen education, and promote economic opportunity for all Americans. In addition, Senator Klobuchar's work has gained national recognition. The Washington Post has called her “talented and effective,” Working Mother magazine named her as "Best in Congress” for her efforts on behalf of working families, and The New York Times called her a “former prosecutor with made-for-state-fair charms.”
