Mike Huckabee Files Official Paperwork for President of the United States in Louisiana
LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Former Arkansas Governor and 2016 GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee announced today his team has filed paperwork for President of the United States in Louisiana. Louisiana Grassroots Chair Jensen Young filed the official papers this morning at the Secretary of State's office in Baton Rouge.
"We're mobilizing a powerful grassroots team of Americans that are eager to burn down the corrupt Washington political machine, and these commonsense conservatives will carry us through the Louisiana Republican primary and beyond," said Gov. Mike Huckabee.
"Gov. Mike & Louisiana native First Lady Janet Huckabee have been great neighbors to our state with a 'People First, Paperwork Later' approach when we were in need during Hurricanes Katrina & Rita," said Young. "With a little help from Louisiana Republican primary voters on March 5, 2016, Gov. Huckabee will stand firm as the Republican nominee for President & defeat the Clinton Machine in November like we watched him do so many times in Arkansas."
