Donald J. Trump Files to be on the Ballot in Hawaii, South Carolina and Ohio
Mr. Trump Files for the Ballot in Three Additional States; Files Full Slate of Delegates in Ohio
(New York, NY) December 11th, 2015 - Today Donald J. Trump for President Inc. announced the campaign has officially filed to be on the ballot of the March 8, 2016 Hawaii Republican Caucus, the February 20, 2016 South Carolina Republican Presidential Preference Primary and the March 15, 2016 Ohio Republican Presidential Primary. Mr. Trump's campaign also filed today a full slate of delegates in Ohio for the Republican National Convention which will take place in Cleveland July 18-21, 2016.
Mr. Trump stated, "It is my honor to be on the ballot in Hawaii, South Carolina and Ohio. I continue to visit South Carolina regularly and have such incredible relationships with the people there. In Ohio, I have a double digit lead over failed Governor John Kasich and was proud to have 14,000 people attend the rally in Columbus last month. In Hawaii, we have assembled a campaign Leadership Committee to harness all of the support we are receiving. Thanks to the support of people in these three states and beyond we are going to Make America Great Again!"
According to the latest South Carolina poll released this week by Fox News, Mr. Trump maintains a dominant lead in the early primary state with 38% support.
Earlier this week, the Trump campaign also filed to be on the ballot of the March 1, 2016 Oklahoma Republican Presidential Primary, and filed a full slate of state delegates to appear on the ballot in Tennessee for the 2016 Presidential Preference Primary on March 1, 2016. Today he will campaign in Iowa before returning to South Carolina on Saturday for a town hall at the University of South Carolina Aiken Campus Convocation Center.
