DFL Chairman Ken Martin Announces Special Guests for 5th Annual Humphrey-Mondale Dinner
Today, DFL Chairman Ken Martin announced that all three Democratic presidential candidates—Secretary Hillary Clinton, Governor Martin O’Malley, and U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders—will attend the DFL Party’s 5th annual Humphrey-Mondale Dinner at the River Center in St. Paul on February 12, 2016. Party leaders expect the 5th annual Humphrey-Mondale dinner will be the largest fundraising event in DFL history.
Chairman Ken Martin released the following statement:
“I am excited to welcome all 3 of our candidates back to the great state of Minnesota. I can think of no better way to celebrate our party and its rich history than with the next President of the United States. These candidates are staunch supporters of our values and each is uniquely qualified to lead our country. This year, Minnesota will play a critical role in the presidential electoral process being the largest caucus state voting on Super Tuesday.
