WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and Co-Chair Sharon Day released the following statement in honor of Veterans Day:

“Our party is thankful for the enormous sacrifices our veterans have made to preserve freedom and security across all generations. The heroic service of our men and women in uniform is indispensable to a strong and safe America. We also owe our deepest gratitude and respect to the families of our veterans, who have also sacrificed so much.

"From the Greatest Generation to the present, our nation’s veterans have preserved our Founders' principles of liberty and freedom into the 21st century. We as a party are committed to making sure that they receive all the care and benefits they deserve. Please join us in praying that God bless and protect all of our veterans and their families this Veterans Day.”
