Bush. Since returning home to Alabama, Mr. Bedsole has represented numerous candidates and officials across the state as well as the Alabama Republican Party.
 
Kent Gray is a Republican strategist and attorney in Illinois. During his twenty-five year career, Kent has worked on seven national presidential campaigns, along with numerous state and local races. As an attorney, Kent has handled ballot access issues for dozens of candidates for offices from President of the United States to school board members.
 
In addition to staff in Alabama and Illinois, the Trump Campaign has staff in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia and Virginia and is headquartered in New York.

Campaign raises $286,512 in just 24 hours

VERONA, PA - On Thursday, October 8th, Republican presidential candidate and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum's campaign marked its highest single fundraising day of the 2016 presidential campaign.
 
Through a "Day of Giving," the Santorum Campaign launched a campaign-wide, single-day fundraising initiative with grassroots leaders across the country.  These efforts were teamed with work of the campaign's National Finance Committee to match the online fundraising efforts.  
 
The "Day of Giving" goal was to raise $100,000; however, in just 24-hours, the Santorum Campaign shattered all previous campaign fundraising efforts - raising $286,512 through direct contributions and pledges.  Of this total, the Santorum Campaign's National Finance Committee donated $100,000 as part of a challenge fund in concert with the campaign's grassroots donors.
 
Rick Santorum said: "Our campaign is gaining steam each and every day, and our efforts are ahead of our expectations defying campaign from four short years ago.  While the national media and pundits are distracted by the shiny objects in the race, we are building an organization in the early primary states that will leave us well positioned to once again separate from the field in Iowa."

HOUSTON, Texas -- The Cruz for President campaign today announced it has raised $26.5 million since its campaign launch six months ago, with just over $12.2 million coming in during the third quarter. The campaign showed sustained momentum by doubling its total donations during the period, receiving 185,000 Q3 contributions for a total of more than 362,000 over the course of the campaign. The average donation during the third quarter was $66.

The campaign has also secured more than 6,000 “sustainers” – donors who have pledged to give a recurring monthly amount to the campaign. The sustainers provide enough recurring revenue to cover all expenses every month for Cruz’s entire field operation across the country, which includes the first four early states, as well as the 23 additional states and territories where the campaign is currently organized. In September, the campaign announced it has named more than 500 leadership team members throughout the nation, far ahead of any other Republican candidate in the race.

“We are thrilled to see a grassroots wave of support for our campaign gaining momentum all over the country,” Cruz said. “Not only are we seeing a surge of new donors and recurring donors to our campaign, but also continued growth of our organizations in the early states and all across the country. Americans are ready for real change, and I am ready to stand with them to take on the Washington Cartel and return power to the American people. We have both the financial and organizational resources to compete for the long haul and to take our optimistic message all across the country.”

Cruz has one or more donors from 58 percent of the zip codes in America, a 10 percent growth from the second quarter.

In the last 24 hours of the quarter, the campaign raised more than $1 million, following the similar $1 million surge in fundraising that was generated in the 48 hours following the second debate.

Cruz continues to stand at the top of GOP leaders in social engagement, which remains crucial to targeting new and low-dollar donors. More than 2,602,036 unique visitors have come to Cruz’s website since the campaign launch. He has also gathered more than 418 million impressions on Facebook, more than 215.6 million impressions on Twitter, and has been tweeted about more than 6 million times since the campaign launch.

On Wednesday, October 14, the day after the first Democratic presidential debate, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will campaign on behalf of Hillary Clinton in Iowa. Albright, the first woman to serve as Secretary of State, will speak at Hillary for Iowa organizing events in Sioux City, Council Bluffs, and West Des Moines.
 
At the events, Albright will discuss Hillary Clinton’s commitment to fighting for women and families at home and around the world - a commitment the two have long shared. In 1995, then-First Lady Clinton and then-United Nations Ambassador Madeleine Albright led the U.S. delegation to the UN Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, where Clinton proclaimed that “women’s rights are human rights.”
 
Albright will also discuss Clinton’s work to elevate gender equality as a key pillar of U.S. foreign policy, advance women’s economic empowerment, champion programs to prevent and respond to gender-based violence, and spearhead public-private partnerships to improve the status of women and girls.
