Martin O’Malley for Iowa to Host 35 Debate Watch Parties on Tuesday, October 13, 2015
 
Des Moines – Next Tuesday, October 13th at 7:30pm CDT, O’Malley for Iowa will hold 35 house parties statewide, bringing Iowans together to watch Governor Martin O’Malley in the first Democratic primary debate.
 
While Governor O’Malley is on stage in Nevada, O’Malley for Iowa will engage and expand its network of grassroots support as Iowans host friends, family, and neighbors for watch parties in communities around the state.
 
The first Democratic Primary debate provides an important organizing opportunity as supporters around Iowa get together to help their neighbors learn more about Martin O’Malley, his record of getting results on progressive priorities, and his plan to Rebuild the American Dream. The groundwork accomplished at the parties will allow the grassroots team to build off of this campaign milestone and continue the momentum for the caucuses.
 
Governor O’Malley has focused his Iowa campaign on big bold ideas, and grassroots organizing the Iowa caucus way. He has spent more time in Iowa than any other candidate, continues to show organizational strength, and has locked in important endorsements from county chairs, activists and community leaders who will be a vital resource in organizing for the caucus campaign.
