Dr. Ben Carson Becomes First to File for Republican Ballots in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands  Alexandria,Va. - October 15, 2015 - This week, Dr. Ben Carson qualified for the ballots of the GOP presidential caucuses to be held in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) and the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) in March 2016. "I look forward to winning the support of Republican voters in the Northern Mariana Islands and the Virgin Islands,” said Dr. Carson. “In a Carson White House, the voices of the citizens of both places will be heard loudly and clearly. I will appoint a special assistant to work hand-in-hand with Guam, American Samoa, the CNMI and the USVI, as well as with the Interior Department's Office of Insular Affairs, on issues of importance to these American citizens." The CNMI Republican Party Caucus will be held on March 15, 2016, and the USVI Caucus on March 19, 2016.
