In New TV Ad, Clinton Highlights How Republicans Are Stacking the Deck for those at the Top
Hillary for America is releasing its newest television ad today, drawing a sharp contrast between Hillary Clinton's agenda to help families get ahead and stay ahead, and the Republican agenda, which stacks the deck for those at the top.
The new ad, called “Get Ahead”, makes clear that Republicans care more about protecting those at the top than the most critical priorities for hard-working families -- from equal pay to paid family leave to student loans.
The new 30-second spot is part of the campaign's ongoing buy in Iowa and New Hampshire and will run alongside previously released ads.
"Get Ahead"
Here is a transcript of “Get Ahead” is below:
HRC: If you work hard, and do you part, you should be able to get ahead and stay ahead.
But the Republicans, they want to go back to letting the super wealthy call the shots.
They don’t stand up for equal pay for women.
They don’t support paid family leave.
They don’t even really support refinancing student debt.
We’ve got to get this economy working for the vast majority of Americans, not just for those at the top.
That’s what I intend to do as president.
