Hillary Clinton, Jeanne Shaheen to Headline New Hampshire Women for Hillary Event *Updated

Manchester, NH -- Hillary Clinton will return to New Hampshire to be endorsed by U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen on September 5th, at the kick-off event for New Hampshire Women for Hillary in Portsmouth.  At the event, Clinton will discuss the challenges that women worldwide still face, to mark the 20th Anniversary of her speech in Beijing, China, where she declared "human rights are women's rights and women's rights are human rights once and for all." Later in the day, in Manchester Clinton will host a Labor Day reception for New Hampshire's organized labor community and allies.
 
In 1995, Hillary led the U.S. delegation to Beijing to attend the UN Fourth World Conference on Women and gave a groundbreaking speech, inspiring women worldwide and helping to galvanize a global movement for women’s rights and opportunities.
 
From the outset of the campaign, Hillary Clinton has pledged to work hard to earn every vote ahead of New Hampshire's first in the nation primary.  In New Hampshire, the campaign is earning the support of everyday Granite Staters, as well as prominent New Hampshire elected and community leaders, from every corner of the state.
 
Jeanne Shaheen is the first woman in American history elected to serve as both Governor and U.S. Senator.  In both roles, her commonsense leadership has made a difference for New Hampshire.
