GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – The University of Colorado Boulder will host the CNBC Republican presidential primary debate on Wednesday, October 28.
Colorado Republican Committee Chairman Steve House released the following statement regarding the announcement:
“This debate will be an exciting event for CU Boulder, Colorado Republicans and for the entire state. The fact that CNBC selected Colorado to host its presidential primary debate highlights the important role our nine electoral votes will play in determining who our nation’s next president will be.
“As Republicans, we are looking forward to the special emphasis this debate will have on the economy. The CNBC debate will highlight ideas and opportunities that CU students and all Coloradans can look forward to with a Republican president. Each of these candidates have a plan to move us from the stagnate Obama recovery to the robust growth rates and wage improvements the American economy is capable of producing.”
