Chafee, Clinton, O’Malley, Sanders, Webb to Address DNC Summer Meeting in Minneapolis, MN
Washington, DC— Democratic presidential candidates Lincoln Chafee, Hillary Clinton, Martin O’Malley, Bernie Sanders and Jim Webb* will address the Democratic National Committee Summer Meeting in Minneapolis, the DNC announced today.
Democratic National Committee members will be meeting to discuss party business August 27– 29 at the Hilton Minneapolis (1001 S. Marquette Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403). All of the candidates are scheduled to speak on August 28, 2015.
“The Summer Meeting is a great opportunity for our members to hear directly from each of our presidential candidates,” DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz said. “Their policies and ideas to grow the economy, create jobs and make sure everyone has a chance to get ahead stand in stark contrast to the sixteen Republican candidates who want to take America backwards. I know our members will leave Minneapolis inspired to redouble their efforts to ensure that come November 2016, a Democrat is elected the 45th president of the United States.”
