Senator Jack Whitver to Lead Marco Rubio Presidential Campaign

Des Moines, Iowa -US Senator and 2016 Presidential candidate Marco Rubio announced his first state chair in the nation and first Iowa leader today. State Senator Jack Whitver has been tapped to lead the Marco Rubio for President campaign in the first in the nation caucus state.

"I am excited to endorse Senator Marco Rubio for President  and proud to be named his State Chair in Iowa. Not only is Senator Rubio is a great family man and an extremely genuine person, but he is a new generation conservative who can unite our party and inspire the country," Whitver said.

"I believe this election is about the future. Senator Rubio has a clear vision for where he wants to lead America in the 21st Century. He is the only candidate who has proposed a detailed, innovative new agenda to help more people achieve the American Dream than ever before and create a new American century," added Whitver.  "Iowa is ready for a new generation of leadership in America.

I look forward to introducing Senator Rubio around the state and I am excited to build a great team of Iowans looking to move America forward. I believe Iowans will respond to his message and see that he is the right person to lead our great country."

Whitver, 34, is a small business owner and attorney. He is in his second term in the Iowa Senate, where he represents northern Polk County. He is currently the Republican Whip in the Iowa Senate.
