BEN CARSON, TED CRUZ CONFIRM FOR 2015 FAMILY LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
Join Bobby Jindal, Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee as Confirmed Speakers
Urbandale, IOWA – Dr. Ben Carson and Sen. Ted Cruz have added their names to the growing list of national headliners confirmed for the Annual Family Leadership Summit at Stephens Auditorium in Ames, Iowa, on Saturday, July 18, 2015.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former Sen. Rick Santorum, and former Gov. Mike Huckabee will also be there, along with Frank Luntz and his team at Luntz Global Partners. At the Summit, Luntz will be hosting interactive discussions with Iowans along with potential focus groups, giving a unique opportunity for Iowans to gain insight about issues that affect the family.
Last year's Summit, also held in Ames, saw more than 1,200 attendees and 100 members of the media, factors that promise to make the Summit one of Iowa's most significant events on the 2015 calendar. Many of the conservative movement’s most prominent leaders joined the Summit last year, such as Dr. Alveda King, Gov. Rick Perry, Sen. Tim Scott, Sen. Ted Cruz, Gov. Bobby Jindal, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Tony Perkins, Joel Rosenberg, Ken Cuccinelli, and many others.
"We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Carson and Sen. Cruz," commented Bob Vander Plaats, president and CEO of The FAMiLY LEADER. "The annual Family Leadership Summit truly gives Iowans a unique opportunity to interact with prominent national leaders. As the date nears, expect the list of speakers – and reasons you don't want to miss this premiere event – to grow and grow!"
The purpose of The Family Leadership Summit is to inspire, motivate, and educate conservatives regarding worldview application and the most pressing issues facing America’s families. The Summit will provide Iowans the opportunity to engage with national conservative leaders and hear their leadership vision on the issues that matter most to the future of America.
