Little Rock, Ark. - America Takes Action (ATA) has released the second in a series of web videos featuring Gov. Mike Huckabee expressing the need for a strong response to radical Islamic terrorism. "Rattlesnake" is the second video ATA released this week in a series. The first video was titled "Maximum Wage " and features Gov. Huckabee highlighting the need to fight for the maximum wage for workers and reduce government dependency.
Text of the video is as follows:
Gov. Mike Huckabee: "When you're dealing with Islamic jihad, that has as its goal the annihilation of everyone who does not agree with their absolute religious fanaticism, you're dealing with a rattlesnake...As a kid growing up in south Arkansas, one thing I learned about rattlesnakes, you don't try to get in their head and figure out why they want to bite you. You don't try to have a conversation with them. You don't negotiate with them. You sure as heck don't feed them. You take their heads off with a four ten shotgun or a hoe before they bite you-because the one thing that you can be sure of is that snake will bite you if he can."
Gov. Huckabee also penned an op-ed for the conservative opinion site RedState, titled "Crisis Management is not a strategy, neither is Isolationism." In the editorial, Gov. Huckabee writes that the Obama administration has only weakened America and isolationism makes the world even more dangerous.

Huckabee writes: "Through strength, strategic leadership and unity in purpose, we can restore America's proper place in the world after years of crisis management. The shining city on the hill needs to get out of the shadows and illuminate a path forward once again."
