WISGOP Announces Communications Director
[Madison, Wis.] – Continuing to build upon unprecedented victories in the 2014 elections, the Republican Party of Wisconsin is announcing the hiring of Chris Martin as its Communications Director. Martin will increase the reach and effectiveness of the Party’s message – utilizing the off year to advance its cutting-edge digital operation and engage voters at every level.
Chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, Brad Courtney, issued the following statement:
“Chris was an essential part of the Republican Party of Wisconsin’s efforts in 2014, and brings a diverse skillset to our Communications Department. His work in the off-year will help the Party deliver its positive, pro-growth message to voters across the state through both traditional and digital platforms.”
An alumni of the University of South Florida, Martin began his political career with the Republican Party of Florida as a Field Director during the 2012 Presidential election. He continued with the Florida GOP to work on targeted campaigns, including the special election of Congressman David Jolly (FL-13). Following this, Martin joined the Republican Party of Wisconsin to serve as Regional Field Director of Southeast Wisconsin – helping to organize a massive ground game that delivered historic victories up and down the ballot in 2014.
