RSLC Announces Ellie Wallace as Communications Director
WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 13, 2015) – Today, Republican State Leadership Committee President Matt Walter announced Ellie Wallace as Communications Director for the 2015-2016 election cycle. Wallace joins the RSLC from the Republican National Committee where she served as the Director of Media Affairs.
“We are excited to welcome Ellie to the RSLC as we prepare for a new election cycle dedicated to electing Republicans at the state level,” said Walter. “Following the RSLC’s record-breaking 2014 election victories, I am confident Ellie’s communications experience with campaigns around the country will be a valuable contribution to help lead our organization into its next chapter.”
Most recently as the RNC’s Director of Media Affairs, Wallace oversaw the committee’s booking and surrogate operation for the 2013-2014 election cycle. She also served as the Colorado Communications Director for the RNC’s 2012 Victory program and was Deputy Communications Director for Governor Phil Bryant’s successful 2011 gubernatorial campaign in her home state of Mississippi.
“The RSLC is coming off of an historic 2014 election year, and I am thrilled to join this team to help grow their accomplishments in the coming cycle,” said Wallace. “Through their many successful programs like the Future Majority Project and 'Right Women, Right Now,' I look forward to continuing the RSLC’s legacy of promoting and electing strong Republican women, diverse candidates, and proven leaders in states nationwide.”
