Santorum Comments on Republican Election Victories

VERONA, PA - Former presidential candidate, former United States Senator, and Chairman of Patriot Voices Rick Santorum issued the following statement in response to the results of the midterm election:
 
"Tonight's results are not just a victory for the Republican Party, but a victory for America.  And while the results are a clear repudiation of President Obama and his policies, we cannot take tonight's results as a complete seal of approval for our Party."
 
"Republicans need to be more than the Party of business, we need to be the Party of workers.  We need to be the Party that doesn't just represent the boss, but represents the average American who continues to struggle in President Obama's economy.  In tonight's victory, we stopped short of speaking to these struggles and to those who are struggling.  If we hope to not just win a majority in Congress, but be given a mandate to govern, we must start addressing working American families," concluded Santorum.
