MNGOP Announces Senator Ron Johnson as Keynote Speaker for 2013 Lincoln Reagan Dinner
St. Paul – Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Pat Shortridge issued the following statement announcing Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson as the Keynote Speaker at this year’s MNGOP Lincoln Reagan Dinner.
“Senator Ron Johnson is a businessman who’s fighting for responsible spending and government reform in our nation’s capitol. He is exactly the type of citizen legislator we need more of in Washington. He’s fighting for economic growth and more jobs and against our country’s growing debt.
“We look forward to hosting Senator Johnson and hearing how we can fight back against the Harry Reid-Al Franken agenda in order to get our country back on the right track.”
The 2013 Lincoln Reagan Dinner will be held at the Minneapolis Hilton on Thursday, April 4.
Shortridge also announced that businessman Robbie Burkhart is serving as the MNGOP Finance Chairman until the completion of his term on April 6.
“I appreciate Robbie’s leadership in the Party and his willingness to help me complete the Party’s mission in my remaining days as Chairman, including making this year’s Lincoln-Reagan dinner a great success.”
