Des Moines, IA – Today, our campaign announced the Iowa leadership team of “Juntos Con Romney.” After nearly four years in office, President Obama has failed to deliver the economic recovery he promised. The Hispanic community is faced with high unemployment and the outlook for those seeking a job is bleak. Governor Romney will deliver a real recovery by reducing the deficit, cutting taxes on small businesses and working families, and strengthening the middle class by creating 12 million jobs in his first term alone.
“President Obama has let down Hispanics in Iowa and across the country. Four years ago, he promised he would create millions of new jobs, stop runaway government spending, and reform our broken immigration system by the end of his first term. On all these counts, he has failed, and now he won’t offer any new solutions to get America working again,” said John Ortega, Chairman of Iowa “Juntos Con Romney.” “Mitt Romney will strengthen the middle class by creating millions of new jobs in his first term alone, reduce the tax burden on middle class families, put our country back on the path to a balanced budget, and act to reform our immigration system. Latinos know the right choice for president is Mitt Romney because we want to build a stronger America and create an easier pathway to the middle class.”
