FLORIDA MAJORITY WHIP TO SUPPORT MCCAIN
State Representative Ellyn Bogdanoff Will Serve As Southeast Legislative Co-Chair
ARLINGTON, VA – U.S. Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign today announced that Florida state Representative Ellyn Bogdanoff will support the Arizona Senator’s bid for the White House. Bogdanoff will serve as southeast legislative co-chair for John McCain 2008, where she will provide strategic and organizational guidance to the campaign.
State Representative Bogdanoff discussed the reasons she will support Senator McCain. “John McCain has been on the right side of the issues that are most important to the American way of life,” said Bogdanoff. “Whether it’s growing the economy or providing strong leadership on defense issues, John McCain has the credibility and the passion we need in our next leader.”
Senator McCain stated his appreciation for state Representative Bogdanoff’s support. “Having sound political leadership is something I know is critical to a successful effort and I am thankful to have Ellyn’s support,” said Senator McCain. “She joins my campaign at a crucial time, and I look forward to working with Ellyn toward renewed leadership for our country.”
