New York Leaders Pledge Support To McCain ![]()
ARLINGTON, VA - U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced the Arizona Senator's leadership team in New York State. Ed Cox will serve as state chairman and take the lead in assembling the political organization of New Yorkers who will lend their support to Senator McCain’s presidential candidacy.
In addition, Colonel Dominic Morelli will serve as chair of the Veterans for McCain coalition. Noeline Cuker, Kristen Kelly Fisher, and Annemarie McAvoy will serve as co-chairs of the New York Women for McCain coalition.
Ed Cox spoke to Senator McCain's record of strong leadership on the issues that matter to New York. "Senator McCain has an unwavering record of fiscal responsibility," said Cox. "He is the resolute leader who will ensure we spend taxpayer dollars wisely and I'm honored to serve as his chairman in New York."
Noeline Cuker, co-chair of New York Women for McCain, spoke to Senator McCain's strong record of supporting issues that matter to all New Yorkers. "Senator McCain understands that the next Commander-in-Chief must be prepared to lead and protect our nation from the very first day," said Cuker. "It will be an honor to share with my fellow citizens John McCain's common sense leadership on issues like the importance of family in our society and his commitment to passing on a safer, stronger nation to future generations."
