Kerry Campaign Takes to the Airwaves with New Ad “Cheney Halliburton”
Washington, DC – Continuing to match up the administration’s rhetoric with reality, the Kerry-Edwards campaign today launched a new television ad focusing on Dick Cheney and Halliburton.
While the Vice President has denied any “financial ties” to his old company, the truth is, he’s received $2 million from Halliburton – the same company that has gotten billions in no bid contracts in Iraq.
As today’s ad notes, the administration’s wrong choices have netted no-bid contracts for Halliburton, $2 million for Cheney and a $200 billion price tag, lost jobs and higher health care costs for the American people.
The ad will greet Cheney today when he campaigns in Oregon and air in other battleground states next week. It can be viewed at www.johnkerry.com
