John Kerry Launches Iowa Ad Blitz
"The Courage to Take On Bush and the Special Interests"

John Kerry hit the airwaves today with a new television ad in Iowa. In the 30-second ad, Kerry commits to the people of Iowa that he will continue to stand up to George W. Bush and the corporate polluters he defends, and fight for a cleaner, healthier and more secure America that's independent of foreign oil.
The ad -- which will be aired in every Iowa media market -- highlights John Kerry's record of doing what is right by fighting big oil and other powerful special interests and ensuring a healthy environment and a sound economy for America's families. Today's ad is the second in just two weeks Kerry has released in Iowa. Last week, the campaign launched an ad touting John Kerry's leadership and experience in foreign policy, national security and working with our allies in the pursuit of peace.
Kerry Senior Advisor Stephanie Cutter said, "John Kerry is ready to fight and determined to win this race, and this Iowa ad offensive is just one more way we are reaching out to voters in Iowa to communicate John Kerry's vision for a stronger and safer America. In the end, voters will know that John is the one candidate who will fight the powerful special interests, put the nation back on the path to prosperity, and will beat George Bush."
