The Edwards for President campaign announced today that Senator Edwards’ presidential announcement next Tuesday in Robbins, North Carolina will be held in front of the old Milliken Mill where Senator Edwards’ father, Wallace, worked.
“Robbins is where I learned the values of hard work, responsibility, and fairness that made this country great,” said Edwards. “Watching my father and the people he worked with in the mill was a big part of that. These are the people and the values I will fight for every day as president.”
Senator Edwards’ wife, Elizabeth, will introduce Senator Edwards.
The announcement is scheduled for 10:00 AM in Robbins, NC on Tuesday, September 16, 2003.
