Governor Branstad and Iowa Veterans Launch “Veterans for Romney”
Des Moines, IA – Governor Branstad will be joined by other leading Iowa veterans to announce Iowa Veterans for Romney. Whether it’s his massive defense cuts that could eliminate more than 5,000 Iowa jobs, his proposal to increase healthcare costs for military retirees, or his failures in leadership at the VA, it’s clear President Obama has not kept faith with Iowa’s veterans and their families.
Veterans across Iowa and America clearly are not better off on his watch. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are offering bold ideas to strengthen our nation’s military and to provide for those who have served this nation honorably and well.
